Salinas, CA (11/7/09) – Switching gears from focusing on, and winning the Western DIRTCAR All-stars Late Model Championship, Bobby Hogge IV, as well as his father Bobby III, will make the trip to “The Dirt Track @ LVMS” in Las Vegas, NV two consecutive weekends.
The first attempt to “roll the dice” in an effort of bringing home a “jackpot” of $7,777 will take place at the 12th Annual IMCA Duel in the Desert, Nov. 12th-15th. With over 220 of the best Modified drivers from around the country, the Hogge’s are ready to go head-to-head with them during the 3 days of tough competition.
Bobby IV is geared-up for the challenge, coming off a successful summer of Modified racing, including a Western Modified Track Championship at Tulare Thunderbowl, a $5,000 victory at the “Lon Skinner Memorial” in Medford, OR., Bud Nationals Title at Bakersfield Speedway, along with several other wins! Bobby III has also kept tuned-up by making half a dozen starts this season with some very good results.
After a busy weekend of racing, the Hogge’s will refresh their equipment, turn around, and do it again the following weekend, with the addition of their Victory Circle Late Model mount at the “Silver State Dirt Championship” for both the Western DIRTCAR All-stars Late Model’s (Topless) and the U.M.P. Modifieds.
The $15,000 to win “Wes Hurst Memorial” in Tucson, AZ could make it three big racing weekends in a row, but due to a prior commitment on Thanksgiving weekend, it is possible that the team will be unable to attend.
Hogge Racing is happy to announce that the team will have new T-shirts for sale at both races.
